Recommendations on SCENAR and COSMODIC treatment

Urgent therapy and reanimation

In cases requiring urgent medical help you should always remember about SCENAR. This is the principal first-aid means. First put the device onto the problematic area (head, forehead — in case when the patient is unconscious, the area of maximum pain, jugular notch — if the patient is having dyspnea, etc.) then make up your mind what to do next. Sometimes the effect comes before you have decided what mode of treatment to apply. Of course, SCENAR is not a panacea for all conditions (most of which are complicated or advanced) but if there are any malfunctions that can be recovered, SCENAR is the most effective and quick means for that. You should not always rely completely only upon SCENAR, but consider it as a support that will encourage and assist you in crucial moments and in any situation and let you gain the time for choosing the proper treatment.

If the patient shows no sign of life, put the device at the highest intensity upon “reanimation” point and continue examining him (pupils, heartbeat, breathing, muscular tension). When the patient gives any sign of life, decrease the intensity of action and treat the head (forehead), the chest and the region of the heart. If the action upon “reanimation” point produces no effect, put the device upon the closed eyelids and find an assistant who could at the same time give artificial respiration and closed chest massaging and control the effect of these procedures.

In case of collapse (syncope), as a rule, it is enough to act with SCENAR on the “reanimation” point (until the patient is brought to normal condition).

If the patient has lost his consciousness, put SCENAR onto the forehead, six points, “reanimation” point, and closed eyelids. The intensity level depends upon the reaction of the patient. If in an unconscious condition his face winces from pain, you should reduce the intensity level.

In condition of cardiac arrest put SCENAR upon the region of the heart (region between the fourth and fifth ribs on the left) using high intensity of action until the cardiac activity is restored.

When the patient is suffering from retrosternal pains or violent pains in the region of the heart (myocardial infarction) put (or move) the device onto the most painful area until the attack is abated or eliminated. Use maximum tolerable action intensity.

If the patient is suffering from suffocation attack (bronchial asthma or other causes), put the device on the jugular notch and C7 periodically. If there are two devices at hand, treat these two regions simultaneously. When the condition improves, treat the projection of the lungs and abdomen.

In case of nasal bleeding it would not be reasonable to stop it by force if it is not a really severe case. Usually nasal bleeding is a manifestation of mechanisms of the body self-regulation. Treat six points, region of the spleen, blood points on the crus, and 4LI (4II) point. If the bleeding lasts too long or is too profuse SCENAR treatment can be assisted by tamponade.

SCENAR-therapy in reanimation implies two ways of application: for urgent, reanimating procedures in any conditions and using in hospital reanimation department. There the universal properties of SCENAR are greatly demanded for such conditions as craniocerebral and combined injuries, while bringing out of anesthesia, postoperative condition, peritonitis, for restoration of peristalsis, coma condition, various kinds of pain and insufficiency, treatment and prophylaxis of bedsores and many others. But one thing you should make clear at once — SCENAR is a serious instrument that does not go well with excess of medications. If you have started treatment with SCENAR, you may use medicine that is really necessary but one third less than required.
