Treatment of trophic ulcer
Nikolay Miroshnichenko | 16.09.2010
Male patient, born in 1956. He suffers from varicosity of the lower limbs for many years. The patient has inherited predisposition to this condition.
He has to spend many hours in the standing position as he is a priest. He has undergone two operations on the veins of the left lower limb. Two years ago he had trophic ulcer in the region of medial malleolus of his left limb. He has tried various methods of conservative treatment in clinics of Kiev, including hirudotherapy. These methods of treatment could not provide stable effect.
When I examined him in May 2008, the patient complained of limping, strong pain syndrome when walking, trophic ulcer.
Photo 1 was taken before we started treatment. The first course of SCENAR-therapy was 15 sessions, in May 2008. For treatment we used SCENAR-COSMODIC EX735Ag. The results of the first course of treatment can be seen at photo 2.

The patient feels much better overall. No pain syndrome. By the time we were finishing treatment he could walk up to 15 km. He is not limping now.
In March 2010 we did another course of SCENAR-therapy just to support the improvements we could achieve before (10 sessions).
Photo 5 was taken on 4 April, 2010. The patient is in stable improvement.
