Hyperplasia of thyroid gland

A female patient, 71 yrs old, diagnosed hyperplasia of the thyroid gland, nodular goiter in the third stage, was conducted a course of treatment at SCENAR-therapy center.
The ultrasonic examination of the thyroid gland revealed a node of 21x18 mm with increased echogenic regions up to 8 mm in diameter in the right lobe. In the left lobe there was revealed calcificated node of 8 mm. The patient was conducted complex therapy for all organs and systems. After the course of treatment has been finished, the control ultrasonic examination showed normal sizes of the left lobe, no nodes. The right lobe reduced in size 4 times as less, the node reduced to 19 mm in diameter, no increased echogenic regions were revealed.
Before the treatment conducted at SCENAR-center, the patient was offered operation. Taking into account the latest examination showings, endocrine surgeon considered the offered before operation unnecessary, since there was observed positive dynamics and no indications for surgical treatment.
