Case history 10. Headache

Past medical history: the pain started 7 years ago and was getting worse with every year. Sleep disturbance. The patient became nervous and depressed over time. She is constantly taking pain-killers (Analgin, KETOROL, Nice), which were prescribed by the neurologist and which stopped helping to reduce pain over time.

Objective issues: slim, tall, pale complexion. Expression of torment on her face. Pronounced painfulness at palpation in the region of the neck and lumbosacral part of the spine. Painfulness in the epigastric region.

Diagnosis: osteochondrosis of the spine, gastroduodenitis.

Treatment:

We treated neck and lumbosacral areas of the spine in Scenar-Cosmodic 5 mode, paying special attention to the neck region and projection of the solar plexus. Painful areas of the neck were treated for 15–20 minutes, the headache disappeared as if on command. Unfortunately, the headache returned after 1 or 1.5 hours, and only after the 9^th session the “light” period extended up to 5–6 hours. By that time the pain in the abdomen and lumbosacral region became insignificant.

After 15 sessions the patient could sleep without pain till 5 am.

After 20 days’ break she had 5 sessions more. The headache has nearly gone, i. e. it slightly bothered the patient from time to time.
